THE CHELSEA BUNS (YOUR CURRENT FAVOURITES)

Oundle School, March 1965. Rehearsing for the School Review 'The First Signs Of Madness' with Dave Mitchell (sax), Max Hutchinson (harmonium) & Nick Lucas (guitar). (These guys will keep cropping up for the next forty years.) The Review was, for a few years, a successful and anarchic school institution. Inspired by 'That Was The Week That Was', 'Beyond The Fringe' and 'The Goon Show', we had surprising license to take pot shots at the school establishment. This particular Review was co-written by myself and (later to be the famous playwright) David Edgar.
